From the waters around sunny Florida, these amazing abalone shell bowls are natural shells with beautiful colors - no 2 are alike so please expect variation from the specimen photograph. They average 7 1/2 inches across with a wide lip and semi-flat base so they will stand on your altar - perfect for holding salt, water, or a smudge stick. You can also use them for burning cone or stick incense (we suggest filling them first with salt to allow for heat dispersal to not damage the shell and of course, use on a heat proof surface!)
The traditional compliment to a smudge stick for clearing negative energies, they are beautiful, natural gifts of art.
Please note these are natural shells with a polished interior and will vary in size, color and imperfections (small chips, holes, etc are common). Our extra large size vary from 7 to 8 inches across. All are beautiful and unique! Please expect variations from the example in the photo.
