This 5 x 8 inch wood box is made of shesham wood and is hand carved in India. It has a rich, reddish brown stain. Hinged lid with brass hinges. A great box for storing Tarot cards and other treasures.

Brass	Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc; the proportions of zinc and copper can be varied to create a range of tones from dull, muted gold to bright and shiny gold. Used for everything from jewelry to home decor. It doesn't tarnish and some formulations are completely corrosion resistant. Thin layers of brass can be electroplated over other metals such as pewter.
