In Ancient Egypt, the Gods were invoked during festivals by Priests and Priestesses wearing masks such as this lovely representation of the Goddess Bastet. They would act out myths of the Gods as well and invoking the Gods powers in rituals.
While not a mask that can be worn, it is still a lovely way to honor the much loved Egyptian Goddess Bast.
